Stena Metall divests Stena Components
As part of a strategic review of the Group, the decision has been taken to divest Stena Components. The buyer is Lazarus Industriförvaltning AB.
“Stena Components Nybro has been part of the Stena Metall Group for a long time and has contributed to the versatile customer offering. Stena Components' operations are no longer part of the group's long-term strategy. With Lazarus as the new active owner, we are convinced that the company can better continue to develop its operations and profitability to achieve its strategic goals,” says Jonas Höglund, CEO of the Trade & Industry companies within Stena Metall.
The business will be transferred to the new owners on 30 June 2021 and the company intends to change its name to Eurosteel Nybro AB shortly.
Lazarus Industriförvaltning is an investment company that started its operations in 2019. Lazarus' focus is to invest in businesses that have a weak historical profitability but show a very promising future potential.
